Weight (W) = (CMM ÷ 60) × Air Density (D)
Total Heat (H) = 0.24 × (CMM ÷ 60) × 1200 × ∆Tc
Electrical Heat (H) = (Power × Time) ÷ 4.2
From the above:
CMM = 0.05 × Power ÷ ∆Tc
CFM = CMM × 35.3 = 1.76 × Power ÷ ∆Tc
Example 1:
Plants require air exchange 4–8 times per hour.
For a grow tent measuring 4 ft x 8 ft x 8 ft (256 cubic feet):

A computer consumes 150 watts of power and the fan consumes 5 watts. When the summer temperature is 30℃ at its highest, and the CPU is allowed to work at 60℃, the required fan air volume.
Power consumption: 150W (CPU) + 5W (fan) = 155W
Temperature increase allowed:
ΔTc=60−30=30 ∘C
Required airflow:CMM=0.05×155÷30=0.258CMM
CFM=0.258×35.3=9.12CFM.
